Busy Tarawikh Bag

Alhamdulillah, the husband got me a Tarawikh bag. 😋 One that l can just throw everything inside like a bag sampah. Heh. Ayden's food, Ayden's drink, Ayden's busybag, Ayden's books, Ayden's Sketchbook, Markers, Crayons and small toys. Alhamdulillah, the stuff occupied our 4 year old thruout Tarawikh. But not only our son was happy, it made a few other kids happy too. Too happy in fact, they started pulling and ripping. Erk. Ayden was overjoyed that he could share and "do sadaqah!" Alhamdulillah. I felt bad that what l brought to keep my kid quiet became a reason for the kids to be a little loud.

Dear parents, it is wonderful that you are bringing your kids for Qiyaamus Siyam. But they are kids. They can't and should not be expected to sit thru the whole period of Solah. So, get some stuff ready. Get them busy with activities. Bring some stuff for them to play and share. Kids are kids. All they wanted is to play. MasyaAllah trust me, when your kids are busy with acitivities, you are not only doing yourself a favour, but also the rest of the jama'ah too. Khusyuk in this blessed month is what we should train ourselves to achieve. Our kids screaming in the middle of Tarawikh may be a test from Allah, but kids are kids, can we blame them for being, kids? I am not trying to teach, Wallahi. Just sharing something so that everyone could enjoy this blessed month of Ramadhan and do our Ibadah with khusyuk, lnsyaAllah.
